As they say, 'I'm back', ex WBs player back for a look see.

WarBirds 1997 to 2004, formed 75 sqn RAAF in Australia.
2004-2009 moved to Targetware focused on FM dev and game admin for Target Rabaul until it's closing.
Worked in War Thunder 2012-13, developing the initial draft of Japanese and RAAF aircraft.

Good to see your back.

It's been that long Peril? Dang I feel old now. Back then my handle was Yamon and we tossed alot of P-40 information around back then. The FMT has abused the bandwidth the server handling your website! Thanks for that.

Hi - I am joehok, I think my callsign is, from Auckland New Zealand. I like this game a lot, and have done for nearly 10 years, although I have never played online until now. I'm actually finally shooting people down now. Been playing since simple graphics days on my parent's 2001 graphite iMac, but only offline as a child...

Back to it recently, still on a mac, and am frustrated with graphics limitations still... time to bootcamp and run windows... (blasphemy).

Good times.

*Edit - Reading this forum a bit, you guys are total grumpy nerds, and I love it!

One-hundred thousand views.

4,116 days since I posted this thread. Eleven years 3 months and six days. I never thought it this thread would last that long.

In that time I have made some good friends and known great people. I am honored to be in this community for all this time.

Check the high six for my ReiSen.

EDIT - For the record, I should get a t-shirt just for this thread. ~GRIN~

I'm back as well. Same handle as I had from 97 to 2004 or so. Stridr.

I missed this game, but I feel a little lost in finding resources and things like that. Lots of new planes to explore as well!

Hello everyone, my callsign is Knuckr.....a lengthened version of the name Knuck, which is a colloquial name given to all Royal New Zealand AF and Royal Australian AF fighter pilots....shortened from Knucklehead! I needed a 6 letter callsign for WB I lengthened it by adding the r, my "normal" name is Matt. From New Zealand originally, lived in Edmonton, Canada for my teenage years (no, not sent there as punishment for my teen years!) and now reside in Hong Kong where I work as a pilot flying the A330 and A340 and soon the A350. I also fly a T28C model Trojan from Auckland that I own as part of a syndicate and also waiting on a new syndicate plane, a Yak9V, to be completed hopefully 2017, also in NZ.

I've only been on WB for about a year, but I am thoroughly enjoying the game. The realism of the aircraft and the interactive experience of flying and fighting online with a great group has been so far been an extremely enjoyable time. I look forward to getting to chat with more of you as the opportunity presents.

Cheers everyone

OK - Now I am really bummed...

With the move to the new forum, my thread here will soon be lost to the archives and memory banks of our dwindling numbers.

I salute those of you who have posted in here over the last thirteen years. It has been my honor to know, debate, laugh and fly with you.

On to the future...
